Naoto was one of the first people Beiste met, and she was gracious enough to be straightforward with her. Even if the Panther might have scared her away, Naoto was decent enough to try and explain everything, and Beiste appreciates it. That girl is pretty damn trustworthy.

Last Beiste spoke with Terezi, she was a blind shark who was able to type. This in and of itself would usually lead to Beiste being at a total loss, but luckily Terezi went and got on her good side. There's gotta be something good about a species that doesn't put women and men into certain boxes, right? And the cocky attitude is endearing in it's own way.
