Miguel -> Nagi

Beiste's impression of Gokudera is, well. Let's just say she's still not 100% certain he's actually in the mafia. It just sounds too far fetched. Still, she ain't gonna mess with anybody who would want to keep up that charade anyway, so there's no reason to push it.
So far, Beiste sees Karkat as a horned version of Karofsky. That might seem a little mean, but it's actually a pretty affectionate comparison-- Beiste can spot that type from a mile away, and she knows they're angry over something else, if they're actually angry at all. So having Karkat insist he's angry is just the icing on the cake. Basically:
Either Kayako's something she doesn't want any part of, or she's a girl with a malfunctioning communicator. Either way, the whole exchange was weird and Beiste's pretty determined to act like it never happened. :D
Miguel is very interested in Nagi, thanks to that ROBOT VOICE and all. Given Miguel has no idea what a robot even is, he's a little wary, but not so much so that he can't make dirty jokes at the guy. And honestly, the fact that he played along got him so many brownie points. So many.

Last Beiste spoke with Terezi, she was a blind shark who was able to type. This in and of itself would usually lead to Beiste being at a total loss, but luckily Terezi went and got on her good side. There's gotta be something good about a species that doesn't put women and men into certain boxes, right? And the cocky attitude is endearing in it's own way.

Needless to say, where making this happen eventually.

Beiste thinks Seimei's got...well, issues. Her first impression was that he was just another brat, but she immediately caught on that he was Not What He Seemed and if they ever talk again she's going to be more concerned about him than he would probably like.
LJ decided to eat my reply. How sweet.

Well, Beiste hasn't gotten to know Santana very well yet, which is a shame as she's one of the few people that she actually recognizes. It's too bad that most of these kids can't remember her, really, and especially Santana. The world needs more kick-ass girls, and even if Santana's going about it the wrong way, Beiste knows it when she sees it. And uh, she might be interested in discussing all the under-aged sex at some point, awkward as it will be.
Miguel...likes a challenge. And (un?)fortunately for Santana, she presents one. He's attracted to her in the sense that he finds her spunky more than actual physical attraction (she's just a bit young for him /cough) and given the chance he might audition her for the role of New Chel but at the moment he's more interested in proving her wrong about his charms.

AWWWWWWW. I love that. <3
(also, gasp, WHAT under aged sex? >.> )
Oh Miguel. If you didn't creep her out, she'd be no challenge at all. XD

Miguel's added Spencer to his list of Chicas to Protect, but she's yet to make it onto the list of Chicas to Flirt With. This is mostly because he's focused on Santana at the moment, but in any case he's going to keep an eye on Spencer as she seems young and vulnerable and all that jazz.

Markus seems like a sweet (if slow) boy to Beiste. She's not sure why he wears the mask, but Phantom of the Opera comes to mind so she probably won't ask. For whatever reason, she's really drawn to the kid and, unless she SOMEHOW finds out what he's actually about (murdering, mostly) she's probably going to try to protect him.
Masky was probably the more frightening encounter Miguel has had since he's arrived. There's just something about how he moves and speaks that threw him off. Aaand the mask didn't help. It kind of reminds him of the ones people wore back in El Dorado during that trippy party...

Beiste's not about to forget her team just because only two of them are...actually around. So it's understandable that Finn is on her special watch list. It helps that Finn knows who she is as well. Finn's a good kid, Beiste can tell, but she can also see that he's a little, well, dumb. Not in a "he's unable to function" sort of way, more in a "he's going to get himself in trouble just to be popular" kind of way. She's likely to protect him, and not just to save his throwing arm.

Burt and Beiste need to hang out and be relatively sane influences on the kids sometime.

Miguel is really curious about Poland. It's like he can explore the world just by talking to the guy! Or something! In any case, as a person Poland seems really nice and perky and Miguel likes that.
Beiste's a little embarrassed that Poland got to see some of her sensitive side during the mermaid event, but he seems like he's a decent enough guy. She'd like to talk to him again just to prove she's not all wimpy.

Bhamba is out of his damn mind, as far as Beiste is concerned. Firstly, keeping 'gators just ain't normal. Secondly, she's pretty certain if it was and she were keeping one herself, she'd be on top of the damn thing 24/7. And okay, maybe she's a little upset she didn't get to keep Zelda...But whatever, she'll live. Assuming Bhamba doesn't blow up the mansion.
