GREETINGS EVERYONE my name is Jai and I'm here to bring you the nerdiest old man you could ever meet, the real Stanford Pines from Gravity Falls! Ford is Stanley's twin brother and a genius scientist who is particularly good at making terrible life choices. (Like worshiping a demon that one time.) He specializes in everything paranormal and unusual and he's also something of an accidental interdimensional traveler after getting stuck between dimensions for 30 years.

He's a little out of the loop. For those familiar with canon, his canon point 2x12 "A Tale of Two Stans", right after Mabel and Dipper are sent to bed so he'll be looking as if he stepped right out of the matrix.
If you want to plot or have a chat, feel free to ping me over at
cloaks!

....oh I also play Beatrice from otgw here if you didn't know.
I'm sure Ford would love to meet a talking bird. She will probably lie her ass off about everything just to annoy him X(
no subject
lmao of course I did know!
And yes, he would. If she's convincing enough, he'll probably believe it all too. Or she gets lumped into the 'frustrating' category along with the unicorns.

Beatrice is proud to be in that category.

he is also the oldest and most deadest resident of Wonderland annnnnnnnnd currently a slightly mute slightly telepath oh look here, stuff! because ford loves people's voices in his head, right? that is totally a correct assumption? PERFECT, I knew it!
hi, welcome to the game, looking forward to threading with you!

Ford actually has measures against keeping folks out of his head (he installed a metal plate in his head...) so I'll have to ponder the mechanics of that. BUT YEAH otherwise he's a big fan of voices in his head, how did you know!!
no subject
AND YEAH, let me know how you want that plate to affect things. There isn't a precedent for that sort of thing in Philip's canon, so we can p much do anything from "SURPRISE it doesn't work at all against his form of telepathy" over "works muffled/partially/etc" to "totally works, here's your pen and paper, sucker". I'm up for any and all of those, so lemme know how you'd like to play it!

Hmmm this is a tough choice as I like all those options, but let's say it works and we can have all awkward games of charades and uncomfortable staring in silence.

...I mean, uh. HI.
You know me already, since I play this asshole, but outside of triangles I've got a super-babe librarian who read aloud from ancient texts and brought a hideous evil from another plane of existence so...they've got that in common?!? Evie is a huge nerd who studies dead languages, I THINK THEY'LL GET ON QUITE WELL.

HI ALEX i already know your librarian babe too c'mon, they'll be the best of friends who can side-eye Stanley together.
