Philip is uncomfortable around the Sorrow, in case that wasn't constantly and painfully obvious. He hateshateshateshatesHATES that he has no idea what he wants, but Philip thinks he wants SOMETHING, so that's just an anxiety booster shot waiting to happen. ALTHOUGH the longer the Sorrow doesn't do anything apart from being creepy the more confident Philip feels in channeling his initial fear into anger and annoyance. I like to think of the Sorrow as Philip's personal guardian troll myself.

Now the Worros err *~THE EXCITE~* on the other hand is... almost equally unpleasant, actually, since he doesn't provide any helpful answers either and apart from that Philip can't imagine what business he'd want with a mirror anyway.

AND VARRIC didn't make too bad a first impression. Interesting sort for all he can tell, even if Philip has no idea what half of the placespeoplethings he talks about even are. Maybe a story read to tinyPhilip will help with that
