THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
MEME

➟ Respond with your character.
➟ Other characters can respond, asking questions (E.g., 'What are you afraid of?' 'What is your favorite color?' 'What do you like about where you live?' 'Who are your parents?').
➟ For reasons completely unknown, your character is forced to answer honestly!

What... if you did... want a deeper connection?

I don't know. I would be happy, I think.

But also afraid, considering everything else you've told me.

You've... never been in a romantic relationship before? I'm having a hard time believing this...

[He opens and closes his mouth a few times, unsure of how exactly he should explain himself.]

I never saw the point in becoming involved in a romantic relationship. Years of my life have been dedicated to my work, and the only interactions I felt were necessary were those I shared with my colleagues. And even then, I did so to use them to accomplish my own goals.

That belief still remains for the two I interact with in my dimension.

[He pauses, wondering if he should continue.]

Family and friends...I never experienced those relationships, so I cannot say that I miss such connections. Again, I see no purpose in them.

[She nods, looking quite sad, and doesn't say anything for some time.]

You've never even had a friend?

Would... Would you consider me your friend? I would be your friend...

[That was something he had never considered. He honestly didn't know at this point in time...how exactly did it feel to have a 'friend'? Then again, friends weren't needed; at least not for him.

And yes, he did hear that bit at the end...]

I...don't think I would. [Hesitation? ffff.]

O... Okay.

[Did you hear that? That was the sound of her poor little heart breaking. Shattering. Into a million pieces. Good job, Wesker.

It's a good thing this wasn't a for real conversation. She would be all but catatonic after this. @_@]
