Minato's still a bit of a mystery, but in a good sort of way. First impressions are that he's willing to help, and seems calm and curious. All those things are enough to convince Elaine to trust him without question (it doesn't take much), and that's enough for her for now. Eventually she'll want to know more about him, though.

Feels like a good friendship in the making, to her. :P
