being responsible for his daughter's fate problems aside LALALALA. In a... mostly sad way I guess he's actually very important to her (even though I doubt she thinks of it like that personally), because there's the connection to her homeworld and while she may technically get along with some of the younger residents better she's the type who just plain needs an adult around her age to properly connect with.She can't help but wonder if there's more to him, because for somebody with seemingly no combat abilities he's awfully composed and that's just plain irritating (while at the same time making him more bearable to talk to than some other residents at least). Their recent thread may still hold a few significant changes, but at the moment it mostly means she's forcing herself to ignore any reasons or impulses she may have to be thankful and substitute with any reason for anger she can come up with. But it also means that she owes him, grudgingly, so if Mark ever finds himself inexplicably rescued from danger or be given a favour then that's why.
