It's not a super-personal relationship, but it's a positive one. Nagi's a research partner, and one that can be trusted. Which is kind of odd given that Nagi's got a mechanical voice--theoretically the tone should be hard to read, and should make him uncomfortable. But it doesn't. Maybe because Nagi's thoughts on Wonderland mirror his own so closely, or because Nagi's always straightforward with him, or at least has seemed straightforward. The reason isn't something he's examined, it's still kind of a gut thing.
