All things considered, Karkat's over his ANGER AND HATRED AND WHATEVER ELSE at Jade. Honestly. It recurred a bit when she arrived in Wonderland, since he had nothing else to distract him from it, but he's over it again. He mentions Bec sometimes to get under her skin, mainly because he knows she'll give as good as she gets. And he respects that. He's not sure she's a FRIEND necessarily, but she's a lot closer than most people. The fact that she is one of two people he uses his emoticon with is significant.
