Tavros doesn't understand his grape jelly brother half the time, but regardless he acts like peanut butter and grape jelly when they are in the same room. That is to say, they are bffs.

If something is on his mind, Tavros knows he can talk to Gamzee about it. Though, he knows not to count on an answer that makes sense, but perhaps he doesn't want it to make sense.
He just wants someone to hear him out, and Gamzee seems like the only one who does without laughing at him or telling him to stop playing games for girls. AND, with Tavros being pretty low on the spectrum, and Gamzee pretty high land dwelling wise, it definitely brings a smile to Tavros' face that he can rap at Gamzee and be a general goof off around Gamzee.

With Gamzee, it's like, having the privilege to hang with a cool kid that won't judge you.
