Hey there, totally new player to the game joining up with a character from a mostly unknown video game series. Though why it is so unknown is beyond me, because they are quite fun games with really awesome music, just a bit on the short side.

Anyway, I'm Nadia and I'm bringing in Mishera from Ys Seven. Obviously from the name, it's the seventh game in the Ys series which is a series of action RPGs based on the adventures of a very trouble prone redhead named Adol and his best friend Dogi. This game is pretty new to the US, so I will be decent and attempt to avoid spoiling the major plot twists, even if the game is mostly unknown and I'm likely the only one crazy enough to RP someone from it.

Mishera is a very nice young lady overall, but she is blind. She does have magical abilities that allow her to at least sense her surroundings to a degree, along with a lot of wind based magic. So she's not helpless at least and has definitely helped kill her fair share of monsters.

I've at least heard of the game, just haven't actually played it. Usual reaction I get to Ys is confusion and how in the heck do you pronounce that? (and that would be like saying bees, but without the b).

Yep, that's why I linked it, soundtracks for Ys games are always awesome, and deserve to be shared so people can at least experience that.

Thank you! And as long as he doesn't attack her, he's fine. Monsters in her world (especially the area she's from) are horribly vicious beasts that are often very large too. I mentioned it mostly because the monsters growing more violent was actually a overall plot point and one of the numerous disasters they had to deal with.

Considering I'm getting beat up right now it'll be a while before we interact anyway. No one loves a Slender!Minion.

I know that feeling, I often play characters who end up getting beat up, but decided to be nice and not foist a villain off here for my first character.

I'm really more misunderstood than a villain. Someday, somewhere I will play a nice sweet person who never harms anyone and buys lollipops for everyone. But... Untill then... :-D

Mishera and Elaine here seem to have the same problem with the blindness thing, though Elaine's magic lets her compensate for it as well. Maybe they can help each other out or something. :D

But welcome to Eway, Nadia~ I'm Seme and I play Vivi from FFIX, Stellar from Gundam Seed Destiny, Hollow Ichigo from Bleach, Kuukaku from Bleach, Ryoko from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu and Crona/Ragnarok from Soul Eater. If I can stop being so lazy lately I'm sure we'll have some sort of fun character interaction with some of the sane ones o/

I agree on the yay obscure. PSPs are great to have, and a good number of good RPGs coming out for it soon.

Hey, I at least do know Vivi, FFIX is one of my favorite FF games ever and Vivi is so cute!

Hi, I haven't played Ys since the Sega Genesis version a decade ago so... Welcome to eway!

I play Yujinn {Vampire Game}, Hubb {Secondhand Lions}, Ivanova {Babylon 5}, Jean {Lunar II}, Ryuho {S-CRY-ED}, and Petalwing {Elfquest}. I'm currently without evil characters, so they can all give you a reasonable welcome :).

Wow, someone who has played one of the games at least! I know I'm eagerly awaiting the remake of Ys 3 (I played the SNES version, not the Genesis version) just because the sheer nostalgia factor will be fun, plus it looks gorgeous.

And yay for warm welcomes, though don't know any of the characters. I only could get about an hour into Lunar II. And well, at least I didn't app an evil person myself (I try to play someone nice for a first character at least).

I actually never finished Ys orz.

My last evil character got dropped recently. I used to play Belkar Bitterleaf, and the Major.

Either way, I'm sure one of my people will say hi when your person actually shows up IC. XD
