Another New Character

Hi everybody. Brandy again with my second character. This is Lucifer Morningstar, from the Vertigo comic series The Sandman and the spinoff, Lucifer. I'm taking him following the end of his series.

Lucifer's kind of a walking spoiler for his series; provided that he's not in a mood, he'll be more than happy to ramble on at length about his life. He tends to be very dry and extremely sarcastic, however, he's also rather polite and will not lie about anything. Ever. He speaks with an upper class British accent and because he comes from the end of the series, he's got a scar that runs nearly the length of his face. It looks like this. His manner of dress tends toward the formal end of the spectrum, though he isn't the least bit worried about wandering around naked. I apologize for this. Lucifer, lacking shame and not giving a damn about what anyone thinks, does not.

Because this isn't his father's universe, and he doesn't generally use them anyway, many of his powers are limited. He can still materialize his wings and will likely spend a lot of his time outside. He enjoys playing the piano and singing. Whatever you do, don't ask him to play "Memory" from Cats.

With Elaine only being taken from right after Michael dies, talking to Lucifer will probably reveal some things that will... reaaaaally stress her out.

Once he catches on that she's from a different point in time, he probably won't be as free with talking about it. If she asks, then he probably will, but he won't want to influence the decision she's got to make. Although once he knows she's there, he is going to assume that she's the one who called him there. Initially, anyway.

I thought that might happen. Ahh, well, that's really going to catch her off guard. Speaking of which, I was wondering if she would feel his lack of power? Since you're taking him from after his last conversation with Maz. :p

Oh, and uhh, sorry for so many questions, but will he be showing up during the event, or after?

I don't mind questions at all! He'll probably show up during the event. Because I'm a jerk and I like giving him a hard time.

XD Cool. I'll have to think up of an appropriately extreme greeting, then. Not to mention the wedding that will be happening around that time, too. hehehe What a bad omen for such a religious wedding.

Lucifer will be happy for this. He's used to fielding accusations of being the root of all evil, but he's always annoyed by them.

Yeah, this guy here is unlikely to believe there's a single root of all evil. If anything, he's philosophically pretty Buddhist; the source of the problematic demons he fights are naturally-occuring spirits that fuse with the destructive attachments found in humans, and he doesn't even hate them, just knows that they have to be destroyed.

So he'd probably find the concept of a single entity creating all evil utterly ridiculous, assuming he so much as believes in the concept of evil :|

Poland, on the other hand... hates Lucifer already, on principle ;;;;

Now him? Lucifer kind of likes him already. In the weird, disinterested way he likes anyone. Lucifer doesn't even believe in evil. Everything's a point of view to him, with "bad" and "evil" being defined by whoever's getting the short end of the stick at the moment.

Lucifer is unlikely to be surprised by this, though he'll be polite and long-suffering about it.

The Medicine Seller... there are definitely acts that he sees as wrong or disgusting, but I really can't see him judging a person or entity as inherently evil. Hell, he can't even draw his magic sword until he's uncovered the monster of the week's origin story and motivations, and often empathizes more with the monsters than with some of the humans. Very big on points of view, in a not-too-involved kind of way.

Poland... won't be. He's just not a polite or withdrawn person, and I apologize in advance for any ranting and/or vitriol on his part >>;

I really need to watch/read the Medicine Seller's canon. He sounds so interesting. And right up my alley, character-wise.

I apologize for the vague flirting that will undoubtedly happen when he talks to her. Lucifer kind of sucks at talking to women. He can't seem to do it without coming off as mildly flirty.
