hey guys! just a quick heads-up: i noticed a bot journal going around and commenting multiple times to character journals with a viagra ad. to keep them from getting to you, please update your friends lists. i added a ban command for the offending journal. if you notice a different journal doing this, tell me, and i'll add a ban command for them too. /MIGHTY BAN HAMMER

p.s. forgot to add: if you do have comments from this bot on your lj, please hover over their little person icon and click "report a bot", and when you delete the comments, click "mark as spam". not required, but helps stop them from bothering other people :)

you're one of the journals i noticed it on ;; if you copy and paste the add list linked above into the admin console, the very last command in the list is ban_set, which will ban the bot. i hope that makes sense? |D;;

okay looking at another journal that hadn't deleted the comments yet i noticed that they have like 02 through 09 @_@;; ban command has been added for all of them now!

At least it was no Finnish Anti-Russian propaganda. I saw that bot in another journal once, it's kinda terrifying and was really disturbing.
