He's pretty friendly, but he has a tendency of trying to show off in front of new buddies. So don't be surprised if he tries to be the hero all the time, or...well...if he tells stories about stupid things he and his friends have done. Or if he begins to babble about killin' zombies. He likes doing that. Don't be afraid to tell Ellis to quit babbling about his idiotic friend, Keith or his cousin. Really. It's okay.

He hails from Post-Dark Carnival (mainly because I hadn't finished the game until recently orz), and I'm positive he will be more than happy to see the change in location.

haha naaaaaah I think they sound somewhat similar too, and I lived down in Louisiana for a bit.

Pfff I let my southern accent come out when I play TF2 or L4D, so I can totally relate.
