Some of you may or may not have worked this out by now, but there's been something off about Saïx on Valentine's day.
That's because it's not actually Saïx.
It's his mirror.
Welcome to the surprise mirror event!
So now it's up to you what happens next. Mirror!Saix is on the realside, which means that Saïx is on the mirrorside, and he's not going to be able to come back of his own accord. Obviously, he's going to need rescuing.
And, of course, the Queen isn't exactly pleased with Mirror!Saix either, and he's going to have to be brought back to face the punishment.
So, there are going to be two parties. A Rescue Party, and a Retrieval Party.
The Rescue Party:
Will be decided ICly amongst yourselves. If your characters care enough, of course. They not only have to realise what exactly is going on, but then decide they actually WANT the real Saïx back, and are they sure they do?
The Retrieval Party:
A maximum of ten mirrors who will cross over to the realside to retrieve M!Saix, and cause a little havoc under the Queen's orders, but they will have to wait until they are given the order to go.
NOW, the important thing to remember is that a mirror and the real person cannot be on the same side at the same time, which means that when the Retrieval Party cross over, the Rescuers are going to have to deal with the resulting tagalongs, too. Similarly, the Rescue party are going to cross KNOWING that doing so will bring their mirrorselves over in their place.
The rules are thus: If your character is going to cross over, for any reason, you MUST have a concept of what their mirror is like. Please don't be making it up on the fly. If you haven't played your mirror character yet, you're not excluded, but I will ask that you know what they're going to be like before you start playing them in this plot.
One mirror character on the Queen's squad per player. You may have other characters crossing over as well in the rescue, but only one in this list.
Remember that no characters are excluded from the event because it doesn't matter which side of the mirrors your character is on, they're still going to have to deal with mirrors running loose on their side of the mansion, and their mirrors will have to handle renegade otherselves running loose in the mirrorside.
As for how the characters that decide to rescue Saix are going to cross over to the mirrorside? Ask a friendly NPC for a little bit of help, and they will direct you to the rabbithole. Anyone who was around for the last mirror event should remember about that.
SO the first ten commenters get to have their mirrors on the Queen's hit squad to come over. Remember that if your character is likely to cross over in the rescue, you don't need to sign up here.
