+ Regarding the upcoming event +
I thought a further description might be helpful for this event, and taking up the entire bulletin board with it might not have been for the best.
This event is Kakyou's, and Kakyou has the ability to bring people into his dreams. Essentially, that is how this event begins. The mansion causes Kakyou to pull everyone in the mansion into his dream, into the dreamscape. The event begins at midnight, on the 22nd. Anyone who is awake at that time will suddenly find themselves, no matter what they were doing prior to this, within Kakyou's dream. The regular shape of the mansion is gone, and they find themselves in an empty room with a sliding door and a garden, or perhaps a dark empty room with nothing at all. These are dreams of Kakyou's. Then, the landscape changes, perhaps into something more familiar, and the characters all enter dreams of their own.
The characters who were awake when they came into the dream will probably be experiencing the dream a bit more lucidly than they normally would. Of course, being midnight, there will be some characters who might be asleep at the time. Their dreams are not necessarily so lucid. After all, they were asleep and dreaming to begin with. They have no reason to suspect anything strange about it.
When the event first begins, the dreams are separate, everyone in their own. As the night goes on though, it becomes clear that people are able to move from dream to dream, and able to visit others in their dreams. Some more talented magic folk might be able to sense where specific people are, but everyone else will be wandering around a bit more, crossing through other people's dreams. There are no private dreams - any dream, good or bad, can be seen by anyone who passes through it. Kakyou's dream is at the center of all of the dreams.
Time will pass, and it may occur to people that they've been trapped within the dreamscape for too long. Even the people who had not been dreaming so lucidly before may begin to come to their senses, and might begin to realise something strange is going on. By Sunday, the 23rd, the dreams are beginning to merge together, and the lines between where one person's dream ends and another begins begin to blur and disappear completely. By the end of the day, just before the event ends, things will really be a mess - everything will be one gigantic chaotic dream.
At the very end of the day Sunday though, everyone will be released from the dream, and be allowed to wake up within the mansion.
+ other information +
Your characters will appear to others as they would dream of themselves, and vice versa. Plenty of people will look exactly the same in and outside of the dream, but it is possible for there to be differences too. It all depends on how the character regards themselves. How do they see themselves, in their mind? Maybe they're taller, maybe a disfiguring injury has been undone, there are many possibilities with this.
If your character dies in the dream, they die for real and it counts toward their death toll. ♥
Based on Kakyou's ability to see the future in his dreams, some characters may also see a glimpse of the future in their canon world, if it is applicable to them (in other words, someone taken from after a book or show ends will not be able to see a future). This is by no means a full canon catch-up. They will get one glimpse of one event in their futures, and it might not even be clear, or even in its proper context, but it is a piece of their future nonetheless.
For this event, it may be helpful to make a note of the kinds of things that appear in your character's dream - not only for the purposes of walking through it, but knowing what everyone dreamed of will give you a better idea of the craziness at the end of the event.
A certain dormouse will be wandering around the dreams as well, more awake than people usually see him.
Feel free to use this post to ask any other questions that come to mind as well, and we hope you enjoy the event. ♥

Do the futures have to be theirs, (if they die, say, mid-canon, could they catch a glimpse of something else in their universe from the future, or must it be something personal?)

Vexen's dreams are probably so fucked up idk where to start.
ALSO, within the dream, it's possible to dream up people that aren't actually there, right? Like, Arland could run into Vexen dreaming of SWEET ROMANCE and just. Feel. Awkward.

And I know what you mean about Vexen - I still have to think up my character's dreams. XD;;
And Eiko's sounds fun. :B ♥
