Who: Haru and Tama
Where Places
When: The day after the event
Rating: PG
Summary: Haru and Tama realize what went on and feel like refried ass
the Story:
Tamaki woke up on the floor of the mansion's music room, Beary tucked safely under his arm. For a split second, he had no idea why he was here. But when his gaze fell on the picture of his mother, the hard truth hit him: he had left Haruhi. He had said vile, unforgivable things to her, he had tried to harm her... As each thing came back to him, his eyes began to water, and finally a warm tear fell down his cheek and onto his bear.

Haru hadn't slept at all during this event. She was despising of everyone and everything, and what if that idiot showed up in her room again. She couldn't risk it. She was exhausted when things returned to normal.

The first thing she did was set the book on Karl Marx down. How could she even take reading this stuff? The second was wonder where Tamaki was. She'd looked so hard for him and now .... wait, those twins .... no ..... ...... She sat bolt upright. It had been her. Swinging her legs over the bed she pushed herself off. She needed to make things right.

"HARUHI!" he was sobbing now. "What have I done?? How...how can I face you?" Poor Beary, who was hugged close, was taking the torrential downpour in stride. However, he had no answers for the boy. "How could I ever...ever treat Haruhi that way?" he whispered. The room was silent. The door was open, though, and a sliver of light from the hallway fell onto the picture by his side. Tamaki glanced down at his mother's beautiful, smiling face. Then made his decision.

Haru was already out looking for Tamaki. The first place she looked was his room, the door closing shut on her in her, for her, frantic search for him. Then there was no door. " ...." Not good.

He'd left his things in the music room and was now running down the hallway as fast as he could. Haruhi's room...which way was it? He'd been too upset to pay attention...

Wait! Door knob, right there. She reached out and turned the invisible knob. YEY!Out she went and down the hall, still looking for Tamaki.

Tamaki was almost there when he caught sight of her, there, down the hall in front of him. "HARUHI!" he called out in desperation. He didn't bother to stop until he had his arms around her and was holding her close.

Which only served to knock her down on the ground with him on top of her. ".... sempai?"

He pushed himself up, his mind too preoccupied to notice the compromising position they were in. He looked down into her eyes and swallowed. "...Haruhi...I..." already, the tears were welling up. He got off of her and helped her to her feet, then threw his arms around her again. "I'M SO SORRY!" he cried, his emotion ringing clear as a bell in his voice. Standing back, he sniffled and met her gaze. "I...I don't know what happened, but you have to understand, I...I would never...never want to treat you like that."

There was a soft blink a she listened to what he was saying. Of course he would never have treated her like that. it wasn't how he was. "you should come back to the room." She said simply. She wasn't really sure how to apologize for everything she'd said. She'd told him she wanted him dead. The memory of it made her look away. How could she have said something like that to him. "... I ... I'm sorry."

He looked at her with his tearful eyes. "You...you want me to come back?"

"...." she glanced back, too shocked to remember how ashamed she felt. "Of course."

"Even after all those horrible things I said to you?" He slowly looked down at his feet. "I...I'm still not sure if I can ever forgive myself for that, Haruhi. Even if it was the mansion..."

".... I told you to ...." She looked away again not even wanting to say it now. "We both said things sempai."

"...I...those are things I should never say to anyone, least of all you! Haruhi, you..." His voice trailed off and his cheeks turned pink.

She glanced slightly, not knowing what he was trying to say. What was so important about her. "I?"

He opened his mouth, but hesitated at first. Then he slowly brought his eyes to meet hers. "...You mean too much to me, Haruhi."

"..." She didn't feel it, but her cheeks turned a vague shade of pink. "o-oh."

Tamaki looked away again, embarrassed.

" ..... then, you should go to bed with me." Sleeping, in the same bed she meant.

"Wh-WHAT!?"

"Bed, come back to the room." She was pretty exhausted and wasn't really making much sense. She wanted him to go back to the room and sleep with her. SLEEP

He nodded, pulling her into another hug and sniffling some more.

".... don't cry." She said quietly. She had said far worse things then he had. She just, she didn't know how to make amends.

He didn't want to move just yet. He wanted to hold this moment; he wanted nothing to separate them. It was selfish, maybe even naive, but...it was all he could think of right now.

".... sempai ..." She looked up

He lifted his head and looked down at her. "Y-Yes?"

She pushed herself up on her toes and gave him a soft light apologetic kiss on the lips. It was all she could think of to do.

At first his eyes grew wide at the gentle contact, but then he closed them, feeling his cheeks grow warm. "L-Let's go back..." he said quietly, stammering for a different reason this time.
