Hmm, I use Trillian, so I'm not technically sure if what works for me works for you, but what I do is click on a contact of mine, press the Invite button, type in 'ewayfortehwins,' replace their name with mine, and then click Go Chat! If that doesn't help, just tell me and I'll see what I can do~:)
