player plot: this is what you get for the whole l'il sebastian debacle
So you know what's generally not a great idea? Telling a somewhat unstable and extremely magically powerful pony that she should make people accept her rather than just getting used to the awkward "so you can talk" conversations. Which is to say, congrats, you're getting a mini player plot, and it's at least partially Kol's fault. And Starlight's, of course. Because why would she ever learn from her mistakes when she can make even more mistakes?

Starlight's solution, of course, is that ponies should be the new normal so people don't question her (and Sunburst) for being what they are. What this means is that anyone who crosses her path this weekend is going to find themselves unceremoniously transformed into a pony. To their memory, they'll have always been a pony, and nothing will seem unusual about this. Congrats, you're a Pegasus, Earth Pony, or Unicorn. You've got a pretty colorful mane and a cutie mark on your butt that signifies your special talent.
Of course, this is a very large, blunt spell so there are holes. If your character can remember, say, playing basketball or otherwise doing hand-intensive activities, they might realize something's up. Or if they talk to someone who hasn't been transformed. The spell is also limited range to whatever room Starlight's in, so it's pretty easy to avoid if you would like to not turn your character into a pony.
At the end of the weekend, someone (Sunburst) will be like wtf Starlight you can't just turn people into ponies because they're being rude about you not being human and she'll turn everyone back to normal.
I'll be putting up an open group log on Friday and Saturday! People are welcome to top level and tag around etc etc. Feel free to use this post for plotting, and I'll put up a thread for questions!

I kind of want Kokichi to catch on because he didn't have magic before and now he's running wild with it.

Here, if you want to see what the wiki says.

Well, Kokichi's special talent is gonna be his SHSL Talent, and as the SHSL Supreme Leader he is a master of lies, manipulation, and trolling. So... Illusion magic? Like, making holograms that go poof when somepony gets too close, using magic to throw his voice like a ventriloquist dummy, stuff like that? Obviously he can't do actual transformation or teleport spells, but it doesn't stop him from lying about it.

Now, for the ultimate prank war... >:3

PLOTTING: Starlight, George, Dipper, Mazikeen
Dipper is pretty easy because of course, fandom's drawn it. I like this design, except in my heart he's a unicorn. He's going to realize something is weird pretty quickly because Dipper always thinks something is weird, so you know. Some freaking out. Likely to happen.
George is a black earth pony with a white mane. Her cutie mark is just the word truth in red typewriter font on her ass. Cutie marks aren't generally words, but George is too word-centric to allow it to be anything else. So she's a special weirdo. She'll still be wearing sunglasses and guzzling Coke and writing because some things are consistent across worlds.
Mazikeen is a Pegasus pony cause I cackle at the idea of giving her wings. Her cutie mark is a half mask and she's probably got like... spikes on her wings or something. SHE'S JUST REALLY EXTRA.
Starlight of course is herself, and she'll be insufferably smug until Sunburst talks her down. And also kind of enjoying it feeling like home, even if it turns out to be temporary.
Plotting: Kokichi Oma
Specifically, a unicorn.
He may have a higher chance of realizing something ain't right when he recalls that A: He doesn't remember having this much access to levitation and talent-related magic before, B: He has a history of making fun of robots for not being human, and C: Oma (王馬 literally translates to "King Horse") is a really stupid name for a unicorn. So what does he do when he figures it out?
Go buck wild.
Kokichi doesn't normally have magic, and now that he does he shall use it for evil (read: pranks). No need for ladders when you can just concentrate really hard and float the bucket of ice water to the top of the door! Muahahaha!
Sans and Rick
Rick has a canonical pony design (apparently he's an Earth pony). He's going to know immediately that something's up because he's probably done this before, though he can't actually remember when, where or how.
