ok, now that thats taken care of and everyones gone out to watch eight hours or so of television, im gonna need to point everyone to davids permissions post. if you need to opt out of anything regarding spoilers, references to canon suicide attempts and drug addiction, or extremely overpowered psychic abilities please feel free to do so there.

i have a full rundown of his powers in that post, but essentially david is an extremely powerful mutant who has very little control of his powers at his current canon point. for most of his life hes been told hes schizophrenic, and suddenly someone has appeared and told him his schizophrenia is just his powers manifesting. whos right? hell if he knows!!!!!

Oh, cool! I loved Legion so much! What an amazingly well done show!

Fun fact, a different version of David ruined the world Kitty is from by going back in time and trying to kill Magneto and ending up killing Xavier instead! Pretty sure at best she knows it was "Xavier's son" who did it and not "David Haller".

hell yeah i love legion, s2 is coming out this year and i cant wait!

oh whoops. well this david isnt even aware that hes adopted yet (hes coming in from the beginning of chapter 2, just after going to sleep for the first night in summerland) and he never finds out hes related to xavier specifically in s1 so honestly i hope they figure it out at some point but for now theyll probably both be clueless.

So early! That will be exciting to see how he interacts with Wonderland. Another mutant who doesn't know he's a mutant! (Billy's forgotten word is "mutant") And then Wanda is from the MCU so she's not a mutant even though Kitty knows of her as one. Kitty is going to be so annoyed at this place! (She's only been here for a couple of weeks.) And that's good that it will be something that won't come out right away. Eventually would be cool though. Kitty's all out of canon so it's up to Legion!

oh hes been told hes a mutant by now! and hes been shown that he can control his powers to focus his telepathy, but he hasnt yet started the memory work. so the only thing he has a tenuous grasp on is his ability to read minds but even then hes not practiced at it. plus he still has a certain someone kicking around in his head 👀

Oh, oh, oh, okay. Chapter 2 not the same as episode 2. Hehe, it's been awhile since I watched. (if anyone is reading this who hasn't seen Legion season 1 and doesn't like spoilers stop reading,) In Age of Apocalypse that Kitty is from the Shadow King works for Apocalypse and there aren't many telepaths left because they've been harvested (like brains in jars) for him. (It's the AU of everything being the worst all the time.) So, she is aware of that guy and firmly not a fan! Jean was on the team though (at least initially) so Kitty has worked with her before.

Also, her power is phasing through walls and such. I hope that isn't traumatic for him considering what happened! (She does it a lot.)

no it is the same as episode two! a lot happens in one episode though LOL the whole rescue happens at the end of chapter one and then when he goes to summerland hes basically told hes a mutant and shown how to block out the voices by melanie in chapter 2
