First off, This is not a game event, this is Tom Hanniger being a crazy person.
I think it's important to put that out right away to get away from any confusion, here.

I posted some information about this a while ago on the CR meme and had a lot of positive response, but if you didn't get a chance to tag that or are new, here's the deal:

There's a killer coming to Wonderland for a few days on either side of the 14th. He's got a thing about the holiday and he's looking to paint some roses red. You get in his way? It's your blood he'll use.

THIS IS REALLY JUST A GREAT BIG EXCUSE FOR YOUR CHARACTER TO HAVE A TERRIBLE, GORY, NO GOOD VERY BAD DEATH/NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE/BE MAIMED BY A MANIAC IN A SUIT WITH A PICK AXE.

Because, you see, Ten years ago - on Valentine's Day - someone forgot the bleed the methane lines in tunnel 5 of the Hanniger Mines because they were anxious to finish work and take their girlfriend to a dance. The oversight caused an explosion and trapped a crew underground.

It was days before rescue teams could get to them and when they did - everyone was dead.
Everyone except the shift leader. Harry Warden. Turns out, the explosion didn't kill the rest of the crew, Harry did. To conserve his own air. And by the time he was found, he'd slipped into a coma. Which he stayed in for a year. And then, as if by magic, exactly one year later he woke up and began a killing spree for revenge.

And this year? He's in Wonderland.

I've run this plot several times in the past and it can be really fun! But keep in mind a death during this plot WILL count as an official death for your character.

Basically, what will happen is this:

Your participating character(s) will either be in the wrong place at the wrong time, or be specifically targeted and chased down by Harry. Unless we've otherwise arranged, they will be killed. I will issue you a PM or an email or plurk telling you that today is the day and your character is going to die. You will receive a basic frame work of what happened and how their body was left and then you get to write the most disgusting and horrific death you can possibly think of and post it to the network. You can try calling for help while you're being chased, but Harry is pretty damn good at playing hide and seek and no matter what you do he is absolutely relentless.

As an example, you might receive a plurk saying something along the lines of this:

<--Derek's body was left in a corridor on the fifth floor. His chest cavity is ripped open and his heart is missing. Above him, the words BAD DOGGY are finger painted in blood, a cartoon heart on either side.-->

And then you get to watch the rest of the game freak out about your beautiful and stomach churning death post. Really, be as disgusting as you like. Frankly? I encourage it. There are some GREAT kills in My Bloody Valentine (both the original and the remake) and it's helpful to get a feel for what happened and how it went down by watching some of the clips of youtube. I am happy to link you.

But WHERE WILL IT GO? IS HARRY REAL? IS THIS AN EVENT? What happened to Derek's heart!?

If Harry ISN'T REAL than who is doing all this terrible killing?!?!

We CAN thread out your death scene if you like, but I've found in the past it runs more smoothly and much faster/easier if you just write your death scene with the information I provide.

i mean um

Philip knows Tom a little, and Tom's stupid face a lot, plus he's had more than his fair share of "Help me, Oprah, my alternative personality killed my best friend and devoured his heart" adventures himself, soooo I would love to get him involved somehow, but he is on his last life, and I'm not quite willing to let go of that yet.

He would be reasonably capable of fighting off a human attacker, one scenario I could think of is them meeting in the tunnels (because home sweet tunnels) and having a struggle before Philip either escapes or waves his gun around enough for Harry to decide that it's not worth it.

Alternatively Harry could overwhelm him wherever, and SOMEBODY ELSE (*waves at Wonderland cast*) comes to his rescue just in time, and has enough healing mojo to prevent his death.

Orrrrrr... literally any other scenario you can think of, as long as it leaves Philip a way out of dying.

So... what would magic do to "Harry?" Because I'm fine with Lena just visiting Tom afterwards in the clinic, but if you want him to actually meet some resistance along the way, I'd be up for that. Her powers are unpredictable when she's emotional, so we could come up with some scenarios of what she could do to avoid getting pick-axed.

Harry is just a normal human! So her powers would affect him however she could affect any other human.

For the purposes of this plot I'm trying to keep him mostly unharmed so a limp or other major injury might give him away but I'm totally fine with him getting disabled and having to make a break for it after an altercation. He's relentless but not stupid and has no intention of getting himself killed. He's after Tom and those closest to him and would hate to get himself hurt.

Harry goes for people Tom know more often, but he also just so does not give a fuck and if someone gets in his way, comes around the corner, just totally wrong place/wrong time he won't think twice about killing them.

James is already signed up for being wounded, but I'm just putting this here for reference and stuff. /o/

James is getting targeted because Future Tom is a jerk and didn't write nice things about him in his letter, even though present day James barely knows him at all. He'll come after James and James will try to fight him off with magic since he's pretty good at dueling and defensive magic.

But, there's a very obvious weakness. He needs his wand, and his wand arm. Sooooo this is going to end with Harry striking at his arm until he can't use it and that's the point James will panic, grab his wand from wherever he dropped it, and apparate the hell out of there.

His arm will probably be mangled pretty badly, and he's going to wind up with Sirius and they'll be looking for a healer (or a muggle doctor if they have to). From there I'm not sure! Depends if Souji's definitely dying or not. If he's dead then James will be really distraught screwed and they'll need to find someone else. /o/

So, I'm still going back and forth on whether Greed's even going to be around for this or out on canon update. If he is around, it seems unlikely that he'd be completely uninvolved with a slasher villain on the loose and his friend nowhere to be found, but on the other hand, his nigh-unkillability could be a bit gamebreaking in a serial-killer plot? idek, if you could have anything you wanted with this guy what would it be?

How easy it is it blame everything on Greed or would he appear as if he has anything to do with the plot? Because Tom will be running around looking for Harry. If he had a reason to think someone is behind this he'll go for the throat.
