Hi, all! I'm Megan and I'm a newbie though I've been eyeing this game for awhile now!

I'm bringing you Lena Duchannes (LEE-nuh DOO-kane, if you were curious) from a YA book series called The Caster Chronicles but also sometimes the Beautiful Creatures series because why not be confusing, right? Keen observers might recognize the second name because a movie adaptation of the first book was released earlier this year.

Anyway! Lena is a Caster, as in spell caster, as in witch. And because she's a special snowflake, she's one of the most powerful Casters around, having control over the natural world. And because she's a super duper special snowflake, she's neither a Light Caster, nor a Dark Caster; she's both, which is why she has one green eye and one gold eye. That's what happens when you refuse to choose one side over the other. You just claim yourself, disrupt the natural order of things, and nearly end the world. No big.

Right, so as Lena is practically a godmode, I urge you to check out her permissions post to see what her powers are and how we could play around with them. There's also an additional post of average permissions that detail what your character could do to Lena.

I've also got a separate mirror side journal for her (wickedways) where the difference is she's fully Dark (which basically means inclined to do evil and not care about anyone but herself) so that permissions post up there also applies to Dark!Lena.

I'm brand new to here myself, and I admit I'm incredibly canonblind about Lena, but she sounds extremely interesting. I'm Chasekat, and I just play Chekov from the star trek reboot. book canon characters are my favourite not even going to lie for one second, i play one in my other game and they're such a blast because you have so much to work with. i don't know your canon, seeing as i don't read a lot of fantasy, but i dig your PB and i like the sound of your character a lot. always good to have more magical people around.

it's nice to meet you megan! i definitely wanna play with lena, but i really wanna play with dark!lena. idk what it is about the mirrors, but they're just so damn cool.

I do have a lot to work with, yeah! Only frustrating thing is the rules for magic in this universe vary so I'm sometimes second guessing myself! I think the authors should have taken better notes about what a Caster could and couldn't do. :/ But I try to remember that if the rules aren't that concrete, I should just make my own decisions and roll with it.
