Werewolf in Wonderland

Hey guys!

So, you might or might not know that the full moon is coming up soon. For Ruby here this means something very unpleasant: For three nights around the full moon she will turn into a really big, really bad wolf. See, the thing is, back home Ruby had worked hard to gain control over her wolf form and remain lucid even during wolf time. Due to a fancy curse that stuck her and the other Storybrooke residents in a time loop for 28 years, she has not wolfed out in just as long.

Which means she's screwed, basically.

Long story short: Ruby is going to wolf out, and the wolf will absolutely take over. Some facts:

• The wolf is intelligent - it won't engage people when it's outmatched. Outmatching it is difficult. If you only have regular weapons, it will tear through a strong hunting party with relative ease, displaying near human intelligence in how it engages the humans
• Regular weapons do little to no harm
• Silver stuns/weakens it, possibly allowing further harm to her or at least prevent further attacks
• It kills. The bite doesn't pass the werewolf curse along unless the Wolf chooses to do so; "marking" a human like that with a scar that never fades is a conscious decision.
• The wolf is really, really strong and really, really mean and unless outmatched, really, really aggressive

The plan is that Ruby will have Daryl tie her up with chains in the woods, and it won't even be in the fun way. Naturally, this does little good. If anyone wants to go for a walk in the woods despite warnings... feel free to poke me here, maybe you want to get hurt? If anyone wants to try and hurt/kill Ruby or, in the same vein, defend her from those trying to hunt her, we can plot for that, too! 

Basially, I want all the shenanigans, so poke me~

As of the point where River realises that wolf = Ruby, she will be doing her utmost to defend her, so if anyone wants awesome funtimes centred around that, do let me know.

I'm interested in giving the Batter the opportunity to purify something. He probably wouldn't appear to be a threat what with the whole baseball bat thing, but it's not an ordinary bat...

What exactly can the bat do/how does purifying work? It looks like Meg will try to organize a hunting party on Day 2, so if he wants to kill himself an innocent girl I MEAN BLOODTHIRSTY WOLF he could jump in there?

I think Greed would qualify as too powerful/too non-human, and the Wolf would not attack him. But if you want to get involved in conflict, Meg is gonna organize a "let's kill the wolf" party on Day 2 \o/

Please hurt or kill James (whichever is fine - I don't think he has any "proper" mansion deaths yet anyway and Beiste clearly needs more reasons to not want James fighting on the front lines). He's going to go outside as Prongs on the assumption that werewolves are the same in every world and that he won't get hurt because he's an animal. He's going to deliberately ignore warnings and go out, thinking that maybe it's Moony. EDIT: Uhhh probably for day 2 or 3. He wouldn't go until he hears there's a werewolf after all.

Tohru will be good and not go out, but she's not stupid. Even if she doesn't know exactly what's going on, she's going to leave things outside Ruby's door for her to find in the morning - whatever's happening is obviously upsetting her, so she needs some cheering up, right? Things like a little vase with flowers, or some nice warm sweet homemade rolls for breakfast. Or maybe even a basket with fresh fruit (ahahahahahahahaha I'm punny).

Ruby's gonna be responsible for the death of two people (one will get eaten, the other chased down a deeeeeeep hole), Meg will have her arm chewed on... if you want Valjean to get hurt, that can totally still happen, though maybe not the first night but on the second?

Going to reply to her IC post, but Martha will probably be smart enough to just stay inside. She doesn't want to mess things up for Ruby and ... yeah. :C She wouldn't stand a chance against one and she wouldn't want to hurt her.

Look if David can talk Ruby down when she's in wolf form, Whale sure as hell can do it. So that is a thing he is going to be doing. And yelling at the angry mob to back the fuck off.

Probably staying out of the hunt-ish things this time, but if Hiccup's forge gets approved, he could probably try to come up with something silver to help her through future transformations. Since he's a smith and all.

hmmm, that's actually not going to help. There are only two ways for Ruby to not turn into a monster - she needs her cloak (prevents the transformation) or she needs to gain control of her transformation... but he could make silver for the hunting party? xD

How did you wanna go about that? Since the wolf is smart, is she gonna wriggle out, or just outright break them?

I figured that, since Ruby doesn't yet KNOW she can break out of an industrial freezer, she will suggest being chained to a tree in the woods, which will do little good - the wolf will shred right out of those chains. If Daryl remains in the woods with her, he could try and shoot her if he so chooses (will do no good at all), or just be smart and make a run for it and try to barricade the Mansion, at which point the wolf will probably give up on tearing down the front door, and will instead go frolick in the woods.

Ruby wouldn't engage Sephiroth, I don't think, is he's clearly non-human iirc? If he's interested in the hunting party, that might be an option for him. Although I should say that I don't want Ruby to be killed during this event.

Anyone planning on defending Ruby amenable to getting their character killed in the attempt?

She could help in either the attempts to kill Ruby or defend or night 2, or maybe get involved with Crowley in trying to acquire the cloak when he offers it for grabs on day 2

Awesome! If you want to, John could get in with the hunting party, the defenders and/or join the bartering for the cloak that can prevent Ruby from transforming. The demon Crowley will find it in his closet on Day 2 and start offering it on the network, so people need to barter if they hope to procure it for Ruby and help/stop her.

SO LATE but I'm throwing Emma in to help protect Ruby from anyone hunting her, so just tell me where you want me, and I'll be there. Nobody is laying a hand on Ruby if she can help it.
