Hello Entranceway!

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Dees and I am brand new here in these parts. Got me that new player smell and everything. I've never played in E-way before, so please gimme some time as I let all the new information sink into my brain.

The character I bring you is Armin Arlert from Attack on Titan. You may know Attack on Titan as that canon where the giant naked people eat the other people and you'd be absolutely correct, that is basically what it is. You may also know it because some guy with a pretty criminal looking face has been here in the castle for a while now. Armin has a big ol' brain which is full of observations. Physically not very impressive, his main contribution to basically everything is his ability to strategise and have new insights. He can best be described as somewhat of a pragmatic dreamer, who is inspired by the big dreams he has (mostly centered around exploration and learning new things), but much of his day to day actions are fairly pragmatic and cautious.

His head also kind of looks like a coconut.

HEYA. Man, I haven't done an intro post as a new player in a new game in a long, long time so forgive the rust and my ever present anxiety. Anyway, I'm Trace and I'm bringing in a character I love from a terrible, terrible canon.

This is Alec Lightwood from Shadowhunters which is the teevee person of Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments. Cassandra Clare is an awful person who I ignore, btw. Shadowhunters is not high art but it's entertaining and fun to watch and the cast is pretty pretty pretty.

Anyway, Alec here is a Shadowhunter, which basically means he hunts demons and rogue Downworlders (vampires, werewolves, warlocks, the Fae, etc). He used to be pretty speciest but he's gotten better. Still, feel free to set him straight if he does edge close to being like that.

He's coming in just as he was set to get married to a woman (which is a problem since he's gay) to form a strictly platonic, business partnership that would benefit their families. He stopped the wedding, kissed his first boy and the ends up here. Jarring to say the least.

Hey, guys! Kayla here with a fresh face! Some of you might remember me from my run here a year or so ago with Cisco Ramon.

This is Rebecca Atherton (you can call her Becks), she's from Newsflesh and will be arriving in a bit of a fit thanks to her brutal canon point because I'm nice. Eventually, she'll probably get back into her journalistic ways as part of the After The End Times team buuuut for now, there's gonna be a pretty big adjustment period that she'll be going through so that should be fun.

Hey everyone! I'm Jelle and I actually used to play here ages and ages ago.. as in "back on Livejournal" ages ago. Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, basically. (I used to play Usagi aka Sailor Moon here back then, in case anyone has been around long enough to remember...) I've taken a break from DWRP for a while, but I'm slowly easing back into it now!

I'm bringing in Ange Ushiromiya from Umineko no Naku Koro ni this time around. Explaining Umineko's convoluted plot without spoilers practically requires a PHD, but it's basically a mystery detective story where all people do is argue whether it really is a mystery detective story or not. Also there's witches. And questionable life choices. Ange is the rich heir and last living member of the family that got murdered during said mystery detective story and not very happy with it. Or with life. Or with anything. She's adopted extreme deadpan and sarcasm as ways of coping with her depression after imaginary friends failed as a solution.

She's mostly just really weird, yes. And kind of sad.

For those unfamiliar, he's a couple hundred year old pirate who was once hellbent on getting his revenge but that's kind of changed since he came to Storybrooke and started hanging out with a bunch of heroes. Hello! My name is Tiger and after a really long time of not RPing, I'm coming back into the scene by bringing in Kate Marsh from Life Is Strange!

She's... not an entirely happy person at this moment in time, but thankfully I've brought her from her "good end". If you're not familiar with the canon, I won't spoil anything, but I will note that there will be warnings for suicide, depression, and non-con if your character delves into her story a little further. Due to the sensitive nature of this content, please let me know if I should not have these in my tags at my permissions post!

But aside from that, I am happy to play her here and get her some new friends that are just as dear and kind as a certain photographer in our midsts. Kate is a nice girl who just needs to be brought out of a bad time, let her charm you with her affinity for the arts and being generally empathetic to others.

My name's Shia and I'll be joining all of you fine people here as Waverly Earp (yes, she's Wynonna's little sister). Waverly is ridiculously smart and speaks like 4 languages fluently. She's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet but don't seriously piss her off because she's pretty handy with the ol' double barrel shotgun. yooo, eway.... i'm caitlin and i'm 100% new here! i'll be bringing in peter quill aka star-lord (it's gonna stick somewhere ok) from the guardians of the galaxy corner of the mcu!

for those unfamiliar, peter is a self-proclaimed "legendary outlaw," two-time galaxy-saver, and disco dan obsessed with (and constantly referencing) 70s/80s music and pop culture, who left earth on a no good, very bad day in 1988 and hasn't been back since. and that's just the first five minutes of the first movie. he'll be coming in after the events of guardians of the galaxy vol 2, and all the fun that entailed, so yay 👍 i know this is still a fairly recent release, so if you'd like to avoid spoilers or anything like that, just lmk!
