Ivanova: Wesker does indeed feel he needs to watch his words and actions around Commander Ivanova. While he does admire her courage when she speaks to him, he would prefer to keep her at a distance until he learns more about her. However, he did appreciate her insight concerning the mysteries of the mansion (because now he can make a laboratory, yay!). He is very much unsure if he should see her as a threat or a possible candidate for experimentation because of her intelligence and bravado. Only time will tell for these two.

Emperor Kura: Kura is definitely one who has piqued Wesker's interest. At first, he was annoyed by the apparent arrogance of the emperor, but as they continued to converse Wesker could see him 'joining forces' with the other. He is very interested in the power that Kura possesses and definitely sees him more of an equal over the other residents. Granted, Wesker sees no being, human or not, equal to himself. But Kura comes close. He would definitely like to get to know the emperor better in the future.
