Newcomer to Wonderland

Hi all. My name's Rhi and I've just joined the game with the aid of the delightful Spencer Hastings here. Spencer is from Pretty Little Liars (TV canon) and I'm looking forward to having her try to make sense of the seemingly senseless xD

I'm also looking forward to her getting to know the other characters, and me getting to know the other players. Feel free to IM/PM/email me for plottage or chat. In the meantime, please add scary_enough. (She also has a mirror journal, hguone_yracs, which is still under construction)

I am familiar with neither of those except for having seen the Zero Punctuation review of Amnesia: The Dark Descent but that seems to be remarkable common for the fandoms I've come across in LJRP so far and has yet to cause a problem so it's all good.

They're both actually awesome, though if you dislike gore I'm hesitant to recommend Amnesia. Marble Hornets, though? GOGOGO! Someone's made a playlist of the main videos and another character's in-story responses, so if you want that's a good place to go (http://www.youtube.com/user/Fro0lik#grid/user/256400D765FB61E4).

I've never seen Pretty Little Liars either, for all that I'm sure the name rings a bell. Something I should be looking out for?

Oh awesome, thanks. That's definitely a starting point. I'll have a look for Let's Plays of Amnesia as well, see what it's like. (Spoilery? Perhaps, but I are wuss xD)

Helloween4545's (http://www.youtube.com/user/Helloween4545#p/c/CE102AE9D53AFB35/0/ZgzA0G0ubp4) is really good, if you like ones with vocal commentary. I'm not sure about ones with subtitles, though. He also has awesome Let's Plays of the only important first two Penumbra games (http://www.youtube.com/user/Helloween4545#p/c/DCAA2330808B36FA/0/MXyel4FXaOk), which were made by the same studio and are a sort of spiritual predecessor.

Ooh! Vocal commentary I tend to prefer cause then I can watch the gameplay at the same time.

And to answer the question I failed to before, Pretty Little Liars was a book series before TV show so maybe that's where you've heard it (and Mooni plays a character from the same show). I enjoy it, despite not technically being the target demographic - there's a lot of typical teen stuff in there, but the overall plot arc is worth sticking with, IMO.
