Therapy with Lamb
I've been asked this a few times now, so I'm going to make a quick post here about what we can do if your character(s) want(s) to have therapy sessions with Lamb.
If you're interested, send echo_of_utopia a PM or contact lackofcrocodiles on AIM. There's basically three options we can go for:
1. Handwaving. If you like it quick and simple, just contact me, tell me which character(s) attended, what subjects were most likely discussed and anything else I may need to know about what happened and how. I'll probably just send back a confirmation and possibly sum up how Lamb reacted and/or what she may have suggested. (We can also discuss the whole therapy process OOC on AIM, if you prefer some details without writing the session out IC.)
2. Comment log. Point me to an entry of your character or comment on Lamb's most recent entry (if applicable). No heads-up necessary, just make sure to clarify that your character wants a session rather than casual talk, especially if they aren't meeting at the practice. Action tags! She likely doesn't counsel over the communicator, unless you can convince her to do it IC.
3. Prose log. Set up a post in the log community, throw me a link and off we go! Therapy at the practice is the standard setting and strongly preferred by Lamb IC, so please check with me if you'd rather have them meet elsewhere.
So... yeah. Basically the only thing I won't do as of now is write the session out IC over AIM.
Okay now, PLANNING! I'm easy, but if you want the session to be done a certain way or in a certain timespan, please let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.
If you want to make sure that a particular subject is covered or that the session is heading a certain way, please give me that outline/info. Contact me about that if necessary, otherwise just let them talk and see how it goes.
ALSO I'm waving my summer break goodbye now, so I will likely beeven slower than usual holy crap how is that possible with my responses. That means if you want/need a session done fast we've got to set a date in advance to make sure I've got a few hours to dedicate to the project. Again, contact me if necessary, otherwise I'll just try my best to tag as quickly as I can whenever I'm around to do it.
