Hey everyone, this is Kal, with my fifth character: Caim from Drakengard. He's grumpy, pretty cruel, bloodthirsty, and....MUTE. That's right, he cannot talk to anyone, except for other pact partners, which I'll explain in a moment. He can really only speak to Angelus, his dragon, who will translate. Hopefully. Maybe.
Anywho...Caim will only be able to make written comments, or noise-related voice posts, but nothing more. Oh, and he's blind in one eye, but he can still kick your ass. Enjoy! <3
Now, as for pact partners...I'll make it short. Humans and mythical beasts can form a "pact", basically. It can be any creature. The ones in Drakengard vary from dragons, fairies, elemental spirits, golems, and a reaper. (Rest in peace, Urick) Once bound, the human gives something up (involuntarily chosen), and they become intertwined. Once one dies, so does the other. They feel each other's pain as well.
Caim forced Angelus into a pact, and lost his voice because of it. Once someone loses something, the mark of the pact is left there. Caim's mark is on his tongue. I have an icon of it, you'll see.
