...So yeah. The wedding thing.

Way more influential than it needs to be.

Also, writing. Because I really have no idea if I'll have time/energy to scene it, and it's in my head, so here. Little... drabbly things based on the idea of the wedding, which may or may not be canon to Eway.

"So." Possibly toeing the grass in very, very white, sparkly, pretty shoes isn't exactly the smartest thing. Not that Roxas knows much about how to care for such. ... Well. Elegance. This is a bit strange, even for him.

But he looks at Harry hopefully, during the reception. "What do you think?"

"Well."

It seems, even now, Harry has a hard time meeting with anyone eye-to-eye -- including Roxas -- but this is the most relaxed he's seen the older man, at least.

But Roxas can't help but wince when he hears Harry say, "I'll admit, when I first got here and saw you, I thought it was strange. You're young -- fifteen, sixteen? -- marrying someone older than you. A guy older than you that I don't even really know. You're the bride, in a dress. I was... sort of skeptical."

Roxas's heart sinks. He hates that feeling. "Harry..."

"But, you know. I took a better look at you." Harry tries to look at him in the face, at least, with red red eyes. "And I saw how really, truly happy you were. That convinced me."

Roxas smiles.

"I'm still skeptical of your husband, though," Harry says a bit flatly.

"Harry."

"It's an abstract," River blurts out suddenly.

Beast Boy stares at his roomie. "Huh?"

They stand outside the kitchen doors. It doesn't take Beast Boy to transform into a hound to smell that something really, really, tasty is in there -- which is why they're here, of course. This big party or something's hard to ignore, and someone's busy in there.

River tilts her head, staring at the door knob. "Knock knock, don't knock, I'm not here. You can't see me. My hands don't work for you, I work for me, myself, and I."

"Uh-huh." Creepy. She could so be related to Raven.

Beast Boy opens the door, and.

Well, the last thing he expects is to see some big, tough-looking dude with spiky blue hair with an X-shaped scar on his face... wearing a blue frilly apron, cooking a wedding cake.

Worse yet, the apron is written as Freeze the Cook.

The man stares at Beast Boy with wide yellow eyes.

"Can I have a slice?" River whispers.

"Get out!" the scarred dude snaps at them, a giant sword appearing in his hand.

Beast Boy squeals like a three-year-old girl, grabs River by the wrist, and bails.
