This doesn't come without a lot of trepidation, but I'm gonna be sending Gold home. He will be performing his ritual to sever himself from the Dark One's dagger tomorrow August 18th (alone because he doesn't... need anyone to be there for it), and the ritual will... ultimately kill him, because that's what happens when you try to cheat fate. 

He will let everyone know that he was performing it, but once the ritual is completed, he'll be gone and if anyone goes to look for him, they will find a BLANK DARK ONE'S DAGGER, which is important for reasons.

Basically the first person who touches the dagger with their bare hands will become the Dark One. The mods have approved this, so really it's just finders keepers. Enjoy your horrible corruption and magical powers, random person!
