Pen here bringing you Cecil Baldwin from the explosively popular podcast Welcome to Night Vale. What is Night Vale? It is a fictional town in the desert where Crazy Ridiculous Shit happens on a regular basis. NPR meet Stephen King meets Lovecraft meets Twin Peaks. Who is Cecil Baldwin? He is ostensibly the Voice of Night Vale, who keeps the town up to date on current events with his radio show. He has a floating pet cat, an intense hatred for neighbor town Desert Bluffs, and a serious crush on a scientist named Carlos.

FUN FACT, Cecil has no set appearance, so he looks like whatever you expect him to look like. He is somehow always identifiable though, probably because of his, smooth, sonorous voice.

He does have a permission post though since he's kinda sorta maybe a little bit omniscient.

So obviously the best time to make this post is in the middle of an event. Good job Marie. Anyway, as some of you may already be aware Alana comes off hiatus...today (by my time), and I had a vague idea for some interesting CR get.

What would the interest be like in having her set up a psychiatry practice here in Wonderland? It'll keep her occupied and maybe keep some of the people here sane give others a place to wander in and out of if they ever needed it. I...would not want to thread out every single one of these sessions because it would probably be dull as fuck for both of us, but I am more than open for discussions OOCly via PM/plurk/AIM about how sessions go, and for anything significant I am more than happy to thread those out.

She'll probably make a post about this ICly in a day or two, especially given how traumatising this event will probably be, but I thought I'd get a feel for what the interest in this would be like first!

(On a final note this would be voluntary ICly, since Alana won't be forcing characters to come at all. If your character wouldn't come of their own accord/doesn't have CR who would make them go, this isn't the thing for you.)

Hello, Eway! My name is Silas, and was here for like, three seconds back in May with Chuck Shurley, prophet of the Lord. Then life ate me alive. But now I'm back with this stupid boy instead, whoops.

For those of you who don't know (if there is, in fact, anyone who does not know), Jack Sparrow, and that's Captain thank you very much, is a pirate Captain of his ship, the Black Pearl, and he's also Pirate Lord of the Caribbean. And basically that means that, while it might not look like he knows what he's doing, he usually does. He's manipulative, rum-soaked, selfish... but somewhere, underneath that, he's got this really annoying moral streak.

So, I'm sure it'll be fun. c:

Hi, hello! I'm Steph and I'm fresh meat here, but I know quite a few of you that have been trying to enable me here for how many months? Regardless, I'm bringing in Isaac Lahey from MTV's Teen Wolf

For those of you that were curious information on him can be found Here! He is a teenaged werewolf that accepted the bite gracefully to take control of his life and take power from his abusive father. Whether or not it actually helped, well... He's got a facade of an egotistical brat sometimes, and is a sass-master extraordinaire but he's actually really nice and loyal if you get past his questionable morals and his emotional "trespassers will be shot on sight, and survivors will be shot again" walls.

Hi, all! I'm Erin and you might remember me from such Mafia games as "Dammit That Jackass Was the Traitor All Along," and "Yakuza Sucks Part IV."

If you're not part of the EpicMafia crowd, then hello and nice to meet you! To Entranceway, I am bringing in Sam Tyler from BBC's Manchester cop drama Life on Mars, of which Sam is the protagonist. And also the look-alike of a certain better-known psycho alien.



In his canon, Sam gets hit by a car in 2006 and suddenly wakes up 1973, where aside from experiencing the 70's in all its politically incorrect sepia glory, he has to deal with everyone thinking he's crazy and seeing hallucinations from the "real world" on a regular basis. So, if your character sees Sam wandering around and yelling at technology or... anything, um. Yeah. He's sort of nuts. 8(

That said, Sam's an extremely clever and absolutely stubborn police officer. He's obsessed with doing things The Proper Way, so chances are that if he's involved in anything, he'll get his job done and do it exceptionally. Unless he disagrees with you, then he'll screw it up horribly.
