Hi there, Eway players! Fresh blood here, absolutely new to this game but not to the roleplay scene. My name is Teresa and I'm bringing you none other than Ianto Jones from the BBC Doctor Who spinoff Torchwood. He's coming in after Children of Earth: Day Four, and for those who don't know what that means, he's just died rather tragically trying to defend the earth from aliens.

To those who don't know Ianto, what can I say... He's Torchwood's teaboy, essentially, but he's so much more than that. Working for a secret organization that defends the earth against alien threat, Ianto does everything from making coffee and cleaning to field work and kicking ass with the best of them. As Jack describes him, "cleans up after us, gets us everywhere on time and he looks good in a suit." Clever, witty, tragic, he might not be the loudest personality out of Torchwood, but he's definitely a good part of the soul of it.

I've been playing Ianto for a long time but I'm really looking forward to playing Ianto here, and I hope you're as glad to have me as I am to be here! Hi, Eway! This is just a notice that Toothless, as of tomorrow (the 18th), will be going home for a week for a canon update. Which means that the mansion's mascot will, for the first time since his arrival, completely disappear. He'll be back on the 25th, updated to the end of the movie. And he'll be so glad to see his favorite Vikings when he returns.

Hey, obviously I've been falling down a bit on tags and especially on tagging into new things lately. RL's been kicking my butt a little and it's dragged my overall energy down a lot, so I think I'm going to try to finish up everything I've got going on and then take a few days off and hopefully I can come back feeling a little recharged, because there are so many characters I want CR with here or want more CR with.

I never intended to seriously overextend myself, but it's been obscenely difficult for me to keep up with three characters and two jobs, so...I'm going to have to drop Booger Booker DeWitt.

I am really, really, really sorry to anyone and everyone who had CR with him or wanted to do threads, because I WANT to play him, I just literally do not have the time and it kills me that I can't do him justice because when I get home from my shifts I just want to curl up and sleep.

Super-special apology to Elizabeth's mun, because I liked their rapport and I feel bad I can't keep it going. PLEASE FORGIVE ME.

tl;dr Booker is leaving, try not to get choked up too much over his absence.

I'm Surge. I used to play Redglare here a while ago. She had a lot of fun CR and the game was great, but I got impatient and busy and kind of sad about unrelated things and I eventually dropped. Now I'm back from outer space after a bunch of stuff got done happening and generally being awkward at other games.

Basically what I'm saying is I'm here again and Redglare's come back with me.

She's... a lot of things, but first and foremost, she's a supercomputer who loves science and testing and making humans squirm. She's disconnected from the main Aperture systems, so she may be less inherently conniving than usual, but we'll have to see.
