Hello, Entranceway! You can call me Hicku, and I'm the latest piece of freshmeat. I bring to add to the pile one Rupert Giles, first of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and now hanging around in Angel and Faith.

If he doesn't look how most of you familiar with the show might remember, that's okay! Giles doesn't look like how he remembers himself, either. As of Part Two of "What You Want, Not What You Need", Angel and Faith managed to bring him back to life, with some jury rigged magic and the help of Giles' great aunts. Unfortunately, thanks to his great aunts, Giles was brought back as a twelve year old boy.  All in all, though, he knows this is preferable to being tortured by Eyghon for all eternity, especially since he's still completely his old self mentally. I'm bringing him in from that issue.

Personality wise, Giles is an old soul. He's lived a long time, learned a lot, and tries to use what he's learned to help others. He likes reading, research, tea, and playing the guitar. Mostly, though, he finds himself drawn to helping other people with their problems, whether it be supernatural or personal. Over the course of the show, he found himself stepping into the role of Team Dad, even if in later years he found that operating independently suited him. Whatever his size, Giles is a good listener, and a generally soft spoken, polite, and highly intellectual guy. Unless you piss him off - he wasn't called "Ripper" in his youth for nothing, and can get downright scary under sufficient provocation.

He has a mirror journal at ripperinthedark . Pardon the lack of icons, I have to do some Photoshop work on them. Mirror!Giles is kind of a smarmy bastard. He's way more concerned with what looks like fun or what might be funny than anyone's personal feelings. In other words, he's Ripper from "Band Candy" with a bit of common sense, even if he'll usually choose to ignore it.

As far as contact information, I don't have a plurk or an AIM. But a PM to this or my personal journal will get a reply pretty quickly! So feel free to hit me up for plots. I love plots. Hopefully we can plot and have fun together. All in all, I'm happy to be here, and I'm looking forward to playing with you all!

In eight days, I will be taking the RHIT credentialing exam for the first time and I'm NOT READY AAAAAAaaaa! So, obviously I need to study a lot over the next week.

I'm not planning on a real hiatus here; I'll be trying not to tag into anything new, and I'll keep up with the threads I've got, just...more slowly.

HELLO FOLKS. I'm Knight, as I think a few of you know, and I'm fresh meat! As is James Watson here, from Sanctuary.

Like Helen, he's fresh out of 3x17 Normandy, straight out of the invasion of Normandy and such. UNLIKE Helen however, he's from part way through the episode, namely about when he's getting interrogated by his former bff Jack the Ripper in front of a German officer. After getting shot in the leg.

Yeah.

He'll be a grumpy guss and I apologize for it, give him time and give him some of it with Helen and he'll be right as rain.

Like his last name implies he is in fact related to the Sherlock Holmes mythos, in fact he's The Five's Sherlock, inspiring the stories in Sanctuary verse. Which makes him 95 years old. HOW? Well he has a neat chest device that allows him to live longer that yeah, spells bad things if screwed with.

Hellooooo. My name is Lauren, I'm fresh meat, and this here is Richard Castle from the show Castle. He follows on the heels of Kate Beckett, as he always does, tbh. Castle is a mystery writer who works as a consulting detective with the NYPD. Often, he gets on Kate's nerves, but they're also soulmates, so there's that too. He's flirtatious and has a bit of an ego, so look out for that.

Hi! I'm Jade and I'm completely new here. I'm bringing you Cordelia Chase of Buffyverse fame, hailing in from 5x12: You're Welcome with a lot of baggage. Cordelia likes saving the hopeless as well as having her mind invaded by omniscient, higher beings with visions (the latter is a lie, lbr). She's blunt, selfless, and is so ready to call you a dumbass. She's as mad as a Hatter, basically.

She has a mirror!version @ tactless; she's more selfish, ambitious, and calculating, sort of how she was presented while body-jacked by Jasmine in season four. idk she's not as cool.
