New character, less-new player

Hi guys!

I'm Kaysha, I play Castiel, and as if I'm not already bad enough at keeping up with tags, I now bring you Phil Isidore! He's from Bioshock, specifically the ARG that was between the first and second games, There's Something in the Sea.

To fellow Bioshock folks, I feel I should be totally upfront: I'm not a bad hand at research, and I've read all of SitS, but I haven't played either of the games (15 incompetent minutes of the first one doesn't really count), so please bear with my occasional cluelessness. Luckily Phil himself doesn't have to know ingame stuff. But he will be very excited to learn about Utropolis Rapture!

To everyone else: PHIL REALLY LIKES ALIENS (or anything not exactly human, really). A LOT. Prepare to be excitedly annoyed.

I'm Rehannon. I'm new to RPs and haven't used LJ in aaaaaggggeeeesssss, so bear with me as I surely blunder through figuring this out. If I suck, blame the lovely mod Kristen, because she and Ash (Wesker) are the ones who pestered me into joining.

Also, my "O" key is on the fritz, so don't be alarmed if many of my words are missing an "o". I try to catch them, but... @_@

So I play Dr Temperance Brennan from Bones. I took her from the latter end of the fourth season mostly because the Brennan from later in the series would be too obsessed about finding Booth and being loyal to Booth to do anything interesting here. I'd rather have the Brennan who is subconsciously in love with Booth but still willing to sleep with, well, whoever she feels like. XD I also like how 4th season Brennan is a little more caring, but still willing to punch a person or tell them that their religion is stupid.

For those who haven't seen Bones... Brennan is a forensic anthropologist. She likes bones. And artifacts. She solves crimes. She's the best forensic anthropologist ever, and she's pretty sure she's smarter than almost all humans. Her social skills border on autism. But she's pretty. She likes sex, but only as a means to satisfy her natural biological urges. She doesn't do relationships, or boyfriends... and she's still new to the concept of monogamy. She's in love with her FBI agent partner, Seeley Booth, but she's totally in denial about it (not to mention afraid to engage in a relationship with him for fear of him breaking her heart... she has abandonment issues.)

I'm pretty sure I'm going to have fun with this character in this RP. I'm also going to be spending lots of time on Wikipedia and Google Scholar...
