Are you tired of me yet? :DD
I've got two new characters to throw in the radar here, Nouhime/Lady Noh from
Samurai Warriors (
flightlessly) and Setsuka from
SoulCalibur III (
vermilionmoon).
Nouhime's proper name is Kichou, but she'll introduce herself as Noh ('Nouhime' literally means 'princess of Mino' and is the name most commonly used for her as she's from Mino province; the -hime part is really just her title). The name Koei gave her in the English translation is Lady Noh, which is... more or less accurate. She's, uh. Sort of crazy? I think 'delusional' is probably the best word. She'll be more than happy to discuss with you the vagaries of life, death, and... death, she has a fondness for butterflies, and if you get
too close, she might stab you with one of her claw-dagger thingies. The only person she even cares about is Nobunaga, with whom she has a very, very strange love/hate relationship. She's obsessed with him.
And if someone were to, say, app Nobunaga? I'D BE OWING YOU MY FIRSTBORN CHILD. pls? D:I'm going by her second ending ('The Demon's Wife') for canon.
Ranmaru can feel free to, uh, run away now. :3
Setsuka is a lady in a shiny red kimono with a sword concealed inside her parasol handle. :D She grew up in Japan, but ran away from home at a young age and was shunned all her life because she wasn't Japanese (it's never actually explained what nationality she is, but she looks Caucasian, so that's what I'm assuming). She was taken in by a kind man when she was little, and he taught her his fighting style (battoujutsu, officially, although some people say it's more iaido) as well as gave her her name and a place to call home. It wasn't until after he was killed by Mitsurugi Heishirou that Setsuka realized that she had, over time, fallen in love with her master. So she went on a quest for revenge, despite her master's last words warning her that vengeance would only lead her down the wrong path. She killed Mitsurugi in the end, but found her revenge empty after all.
If you've gotten her Tales of Souls ending (the one where she fights Mitsurugi right before Siegfried and Abyss), she does kill him, or at least that's what's implied. The Setsuka I play here is from after that ending; she's lost a lot of her bitterness and hatred, but she's still pretty emotionally reserved, and very alone (though she'd never admit it). Her sword is still all she has left.
...someone go app Mitsurugi? T____T Setsuka can be all WTF I KILLED YOU D: and he can be like WHAT I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU. (He doesn't remember who she is until they fight.)
ANYWAY. La la la I'm done now~ Pls to be adding them!
