Sup fellas! This is Krystal, bringing you two characters who will not meet for the duration of this game: Ford Pines from Gravity Falls and Dib from Invader Zim. Hilariously, one of these characters is much older than the other.

I wanted to bring in Ford to see his family for the last stretch of the game, since he's a CRAU coming from lastvoyages where he's been separated from them for a year and a half. He's been doing his best, but as we all know, Ford Pines's best leads to things like holes opening up in reality, causing chaos and disaster. I also wanted to try out Dib in a game setting outside of his terrible crapsack world! They won't be meeting through a crazy contrived series of coincidences and bad luck, which is a shame, because they'd really get along.
