Howdy, EntranceWay.

I'm Amanda, easily enabled, and bringing you one Hector Barbossa from the Pirates of the Caribbean series. For those unfamiliar (lol do people like that exist now?), Hector is a pirate captain/lord of the Brethren Court (which is really just a fancy way of saying the less derpy of the pirates sometimes). You know, that guy that mutinied Jack Sparrow and then got himself good and cursed. He's not a bad guy, really, but checking your back for a knife after chitchatting with him is always a good idea. He's known to be smug, sarcastic, extremely loquacious from time to time, and then weirdly charming when he needs to be. All wrapped up in a wind-beaten, scarred, and grizzly package with a huge hat.

He's coming in just post his resurrection by Tia Dalma and his reveal to the crew of the Black Pearl at the end of Dead Man's Chest, so he'll still be adjusting to that whole ~not being cursed~ thing, and getting reacquainted to doing those things a body has to in order to live: Eating. Breathing. You know. There's a ton of info over in his journal for anyone that bored, but that pretty much covers it. o/
